Heights Elementary earned four Distinction Designations in the Texas Education Agency’s 2026 accountability ratings, recognizing outstanding academic performance compared with similar schools across Texas.

Heights earned distinctions in:

• Academic Achievement in Reading/Language Arts

• Academic Achievement in Mathematics

• Postsecondary Readiness

• Top 25%: Comparative Closing the Gaps

TEA Distinction Designations recognize campuses that demonstrate high levels of achievement in specific academic areas when compared with similar campuses statewide.

The four distinctions add to a growing list of accomplishments for Heights and reflect the commitment of its students, educators and campus leaders to high levels of learning and achievement.
